In-Store and OTC Transactions
These disclosures apply to California customers using The Bitcoin Store in-store and OTC services under the California Digital Financial Assets Law (Cal. Fin. Code §3501).
1. Fees: Your transaction price is based on a market spread disclosed to you before you confirm. Your rate and any applicable fees are provided prior to completing your transaction and on your transaction confirmation.
2. Noinsurance: Cryptocurrency purchased through The Bitcoin Store is not insured or guaranteed by the FDIC, SIPC, NCUA, or any government agency, and is not covered by private insurance against loss, theft, orcybertheft.
3. Transactions are final: Confirmed cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Once broadcast to the network, a transaction cannot be cancelled, recalled, or reversed.
4. Liability and errors: You are responsible for providing a receiving address you own and control. The Bitcoin Store is not liable for losses from an incorrect address you provide or transfers you authorize in error. If you believe a transaction was unauthorized, mistaken, or accidental, contact us as soon as possible using the methods below. You can update your contact information at any time using the same methods.
5. Timing: The time you initiate a transaction and the time it is executed and recorded may differ due to network or processing conditions.

7. Transaction confirmation: You have the right to receive a confirmation of your transaction by email or text.
8. Notice of changes: The Bitcoin Store will provide at least 14 days advance notice before any change to its fees, material terms, or the policies that apply to your transactions.

10. Service availability: In the past 12months, The Bitcoin Store’s service has not been unavailable to 10,000 or more customers due to a service outage.
