Bitcoin Over the Hill: Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Gilroy & Morgan Hill
Between the coast and the garlic capital there are kiosks in gas stations, smoke shops and mini-marts — and not one staffed counter. The nearest one is ours, in downtown San Jose: one drive over CA-17 or up US-101, with the rate locked before you pay.
Over CA-17 from the coast
From Pacific Avenue, Capitola or Aptos, it is one run over the hill — about 45 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz to our counter at 28 N Almaden Ave Suite 50. Watsonville and the Pajaro Valley come in the back way, CA-152 to US-101 North, in 50 to 60 minutes. Beach-town kiosks are convenient right up until you read the printed rate; the counter shows you the live market quote, locks it when you approve, and hands you a receipt from a FinCEN-registered business.
Up US-101 from South County
Morgan Hill is under half an hour up US-101; Gilroy is 35 to 40 minutes, and plenty of Gilroy customers fold the trip into a South Bay errand day. Before feeding cash into a machine near the outlets, compare its printed markup against a locked counter rate — on anything over a few hundred dollars, the drive wins. Buying size? The bank wire & OTC desk handles up to $100,000+ by appointment with same-day settlement.
Make the trip once, do it right
Because it is a real drive from the coast, most Santa Cruz and Watsonville customers do everything in one visit:
Buy or sell BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE and other majors in the same visit, in English or Spanish. Walk-ins need no appointment — the counter is open Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm.
